Malaysian PM given guard of honour at PM House

On Thursday, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim received a guard of honor upon his arrival at the Prime Minister’s House in Pakistan, where he was set to meet his counterpart, Shehbaz Sharif, for delegation-level discussions.

Prime Minister Shehbaz greeted the visiting dignitary warmly as he arrived for his three-day state visit, which began on Wednesday.

During the formal welcome ceremony, the national anthems of both Pakistan and Malaysia were played while the Malaysian Prime Minister stood at the salute dais.

The armed forces presented a smartly executed guard of honor, which Prime Minister Ibrahim reviewed.

Following this, both leaders introduced their respective delegations before moving on to their bilateral meeting. As part of the visit’s traditions, Prime Minister Ibrahim also planted a sapling in the PM House’s garden.
