In response to escalating tensions between Israel and Hezbollah, along with ongoing Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon, Pakistan has issued a warning for its citizens to exit the country.
The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement urging citizens to avoid traveling to Lebanon due to the current security situation.
The ministry specifically encouraged Pakistanis living in Lebanon to utilize available commercial flights to return home.
Additionally, for those unable to leave for various reasons, the ministry advised them to exercise “extreme caution” and move to “safe locations.”
“They are also requested to remain in contact with the Embassy of Pakistan, Beirut,” it said.
