Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s impressive academic background went hand in hand with his job.
In 2019, he was awarded an honorary doctorate in Philanthropy from the University of Law, following an honorary doctorate from the University of Edinburgh in 2015.
Notably, he became the first international actor to receive a doctorate from Malaysia. Earlier, in 2009, he earned a doctorate in Arts and Culture from the University of Bradford.
Before achieving global fame, Khan began his educational journey at St. Columba’s School in New Delhi, where he excelled with an 80.5% in his 12th-grade exams.

He then earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Hansraj College, Delhi University, and subsequently enrolled in Jamia Millia Islamia for a master’s degree. However, he left the program midway to pursue his acting aspirations.
Initially, he had aimed to complete his master’s degree, but his passion for acting ultimately took precedence.
