An American court has summoned India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval in connection with a plot to assassinate Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, a lawyer for the Sikh for Justice (SFJ) organization.

The summons comes after Pannun filed a lawsuit in the US court alleging that the Indian government, specifically the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), was involved in a conspiracy to kill him. Pannun presented substantial evidence to support his claim of RAW’s involvement in the assassination plot.
