The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced on Friday that it will be closed next Tuesday, September 17, in observance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi.
In a circular, the central bank stated, “The State Bank of Pakistan will remain closed on September 17, 2024 (Tuesday) due to a public holiday for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (12th Rabi-ul-Awal, 1446 A.H).”
Commercial banks will also be closed on this occasion.
Additionally, the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) has previously declared that it will also remain closed on the day.
