Indian actor Malaika Arora’s father Anil Arora has died after jumping off a building in Mumbai, Indian media reported.
According to Indian media, Anil jumped from the roof of his residence in Bandra, Mumbai, on the morning of September 11.
Reports indicate that Malaika was not at home at the time of the incident. Upon hearing the news, her family members and ex-husband Arbaaz Khan arrived at her father’s residence, with Malaika also traveling from Pune to join them.
Malaika’s father hailed from Punjab and had previously worked in the Indian Merchant Navy. Malaika was just 11 years old when her parents, mother Joyce Polycarp and late father Anil Arora, separated.
At that time, her younger sister, actress Amrita Arora, was only 6. After the divorce, their mother raised both daughters.
