The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that the weather is expected to remain hot and dry in most areas of the country over the next 24 hours.
However, there is a possibility of rain in some regions, including Pothohar, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Met Office stated that while the weather will be mostly clear in these areas, conditions will be partially cloudy with the potential for thunderstorms and gusty winds at certain locations.
In the past 24 hours, the majority of the country experienced hot and dry weather.
However, rainfall accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms was reported in northeastern Punjab, northern Balochistan, and Kalam.
In Punjab, rainfall measurements included 8 mm in Hafizabad, 5 mm in Mandi Bahauddin, and 2 mm in Lahore. In Balochistan, Barakhan recorded 7 mm of rain, while Kalam in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa saw 1 mm.
On Tuesday, the maximum temperatures reached 43 degrees Celsius in Turbat and 42 degrees Celsius in Sibi.
