The Utility Stores Corporation has announced significant price cuts on more than 800 essential items, including cooking oil, ghee, tea, and various household products.
According to the spokesperson, the reductions range from 8 to 60 rupees per item, depending on the product.
This price decrease applies to numerous brands, covering items such as ghee, cooking oil, tea, detergent, noodles, ketchup, milk, dry milk, spices, pickles, soap, and toothpaste.
The new prices took effect immediately following an official notification from the corporation.

While the subsidy under the Benazir Income Support Program is currently suspended, the spokesperson indicated that plans to restore it under a revised mechanism are underway.
Consumers can now purchase these essential goods without any restrictions or conditions. Efforts are also being made to lower prices on additional items in the future.
