A lady constable in Karachi has been suspended after a TikTok video featuring her in police uniform went viral.
The constable, identified as Maria Gill, is stationed at the Gizri police station.
DIG South Syed Asad Raza took immediate action upon noticing the video, emphasizing that the police force is a professional institution and such “irresponsible” behavior cannot be tolerated.
Maria has since appealed to authorities to reconsider the suspension and grant her justice.
