At least two people were injured in a blast near the Chaman Gate area of Quetta, the capital of Balochistan. The explosion also shattered windows of nearby buildings.
According to police officials, the blast occurred near the densely populated Chaman Gate area of Quetta. Two pedestrians, identified as Ghulam Hussain and his son Osama, were injured in the blast.
The injured were immediately transported to the Civil Hospital. Both victims are reported to be out of danger.
Police, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Frontier Corps (FC), Bomb Disposal Squad, and other law enforcement agencies have reached the scene to collect evidence and initiate an investigation.

Police and other law enforcement personnel have also set up checkpoints on the Chaman Gate road and its surrounding areas to search for the perpetrators.
