A passenger train narrowly escaped a major accident near Jhelum due to continuous heavy rainfall that caused the railway track to sink.
According to reports, the train halted after the track gave way, but fortunately, the emergency brakes prevented a larger disaster.
Railway officials stated that the staff are engaged in rescue operations to restore the track, and all passengers are safe.
The train was travelling from Lahore to Rawalpindi.
