The Sindh Education Department has decided to dismiss all absconding employees from government schools in Karachi.
The department has demanded a final list of the absconding teachers from all district and relevant education officers within the next 2 days.
This comes after the absconding employees failed to respond to previous warnings, despite the authorities having data on those residing abroad provided by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
Investigations revealed that these absconding teachers and employees have been drawing their salaries for years while staying at home.
