Working as a special correspondent for NBC, Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, has reportedly earned a significant sum for his appearances.
According to Henry L McNamara, a venture capitalist and Forbes 30-Under-30 honoree, Snoop Dogg is making $500,000 a day, plus expenses, for promoting the Olympics.
McNamara shared this information on X, formerly known as Twitter, after speaking with an NBC executive. He marvelled at the rapper’s transition from “Gin and Juice” to earning millions as a celebrity at the Olympics.
The Grammy-nominated artist arrived in Paris ahead of the Olympic opening ceremony on July 26. He is set to provide commentary for NBC throughout the games until August 11.
According to venture capitalist, Dogg will reportedly earn a total of $8 million for his 16-day stint at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
