King Charles III has reportedly turned a deaf ear to the heartfelt appeals made by his estranged son, Prince Harry.
According to reports, the 75-year-old monarch has been approached by the Duke of Sussex with certain crucial demands, including the issue of royal protection for his family.
The King does not seem inclined to give in to Harry’s narrative, as he has allegedly been unresponsive to the prince’s phone calls and letters.
Royal commentator Charles Rae explained that the King does not have the power to directly intervene in the dispute over Harry’s royal security, as those decisions are made by the Royal and VIP Executive Committee, of which the King is not a member.
A friend of Prince Harry’s stated that the prince’s attempts to reach out to his father, even regarding the King’s health, have been met with silence, with Harry receiving only the message “unavailable right now.”
In their recent joint interview, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex tried to appeal to the King’s emotions by discussing their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
