Another Pakistani man sentenced to death in heroine smuggling

Another Pakistani citizen has been sentenced to death in a heroine smuggling case in Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Ministry of Interior has reported that on Monday, a Pakistani drug smuggler was executed in the Makkah region.

The ministry stated that law enforcement agencies had arrested a Pakistani citizen named Zubair Khan Hazrat Jamal, and seized heroin that he was attempting to smuggle into the kingdom.

The ministry said the accused was presented before the court with all the evidence, and the court sentenced him to death after he confessed to the crime.

This initial verdict was upheld by the Appeals Court and the Supreme Court.

Finally, on July 29, the death sentence was carried out in the Makkah region.

Similarly, on July 16, another Pakistani man named Kitab Gul was declared a death sentence due to a smuggling heroin attempt in Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Interior Ministry confirmed that the local court had sentenced him to death, and this sentence was ultimately implemented after going through the appeals process.
