A city court has sentenced 14 individuals, including two women, to three years and three months imprisonment each in connection with the largest robbery case in Karachi in 2021.
The accused were found guilty of stealing over Rs200 million. The prosecution has recovered Rs30.78 million from the convicts so far.
Each convict was also fined Rs10,000.
The incident occurred in August 2021, when a van driver, identified as Hussain Shah, took the van to a location other than the bank, according to the prosecution.

The prosecution claimed that 25 individuals were involved in the robbery.
The court acquitted two suspects due to lack of evidence. The case was registered at the Mithadar police station.
