Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a significant decline on Friday, mirroring a drop in the international market.
After reaching an all-time high of Rs254,000 per tola on Thursday, the price fell by Rs3,000 to Rs251,000 per tola.
The 10-gram gold also saw a decrease, closing at Rs215,192 after a drop of Rs2,572. These rates were provided by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The international gold rate fell by $55 on Friday, settling at $2,415 per ounce with a premium of $20.
Silver prices also experienced a decline, dropping by Rs50 to Rs2,850 per tola.
