The Peshawar Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) services would remain closed on Tuesday and Wednesday (July 16 and 17) on account of Muharram 9 and 10.

“All BRT services including main corridor and connecting feeder services will be shut on 9 and 10 of Muharram,” Peshawar BRT spokesperson Sadaf Kamil said in a statement on Monday.

The services will resume under the scheduled timing on Thursday morning, the statement added.

Last month, the TransPeshawar, the operator of the service, added six new stops to route DR-14 to improve service on Nasir Bagh Road.
