10 killed as passenger van falls into ravine in Haripur

A passenger van fell into a ravine near Chakkai in Haripur, resulting in the death of 10 passengers.

The van was carrying over 17 passengers and was traveling from Swabi Maira to Islamabad.

The authorities have stated that the injured have been shifted to the Haripur Trauma Center.

Rescue teams reached the site immediately after the accident, but they faced difficulties in providing relief efforts due to heavy rainfall.

The authorities are investigating the causes of the accident.
