According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, Karachi is expected to experience another day of severe heat today.
The maximum temperature in the city is forecasted to reach 37-38 degrees Celsius, but it will feel as high as 50-55 degrees Celsius due to the high humidity levels.
PMD has stated that the humidity levels in the air are likely to range between 65-75%.
Karachi will see northwesterly winds blowing at a speed of 16 kilometers per hour.
Over the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of thunderstorms, gusty winds, and rain at some locations in northeastern Balochistan, Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
During this period, there is also a chance of hail and heavy rainfall in some areas of northeastern Balochistan and southern KP, while the rest of the country will experience hot and dry weather.
According to the PMD, Islamabad and its surrounding areas are expected to have partly cloudy skies, along with the possibility of thunderstorms and gusty winds. There is also a chance of rain accompanied by lightning in the evening hours.
In KP, districts like Kohat, Karak, Chitral, Dir, Buner, Mohmand, Khyber, Peshawar, Mardan, and Karak are likely to experience thunderstorms, gusty winds, and rain in some locations.
In Punjab, the hill stations of Murree and Galiyat also see thunderstorms, gusty winds, and rain.
The weather experts say that most districts of Balochistan will remain hot and dry, but Khuzdar, Lasbela, Barkhan, Quetta, Ziarat, Zhob, Loralai, Sibi, Naseerabad, Jaffarabad, and Dera Bugti may witness thunderstorms, gusty winds, and rainfall.
In Sindh, the upper districts will experience intense heat, but Sukkur and Jacobabad may see thunderstorms/gusty winds and rain at some locations.
Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are expected to have partly cloudy skies, along with the possibility of strong winds and rain in some places.

The rains have caused damage to mud houses, and the roads have been submerged in Rohri, Pano Aqil, Kandhkot, and Saleh Pat.
In Thul, the rainfall has caused the power feeders to trip, and the communication system has been disrupted.
However, in Kandhkot, the light rainfall has led to pleasant weather conditions.
