Singer and actress Miley Cyrus recently opened up about the special bond she shares with her godmother, country music icon Dolly Parton.
Cyrus revealed that Parton frequently sends her heartfelt fax messages, a communication method that Parton prefers over more modern digital channels.
“Dolly’s been like a mother to me,” said Cyrus, before recalling a touching fax Parton sent her for Mother’s Day a couple years ago.
The message read: “How much do I love you? As much as my heart can hold and as far as my arms can reach.”

Cyrus also shared that Parton’s love for fax machines is unique, as “no one else faxes” her anymore.
“I literally have to access my lawyer’s office, because the lawyer is the only person who can still receive a fax,” Cyrus explained.
In addition to the heartwarming faxes, Cyrus revealed that Parton gifted her a very special present last Christmas - a full-sized mannequin modeled after the country legend herself, complete with Parton’s signature look.
“I just love her so much,” Cyrus gushed about her godmother.
The two have maintained a close relationship over the years, with Parton serving as a maternal figure to the younger singer.
