A police officer was injured after being hit by a British diplomat’s vehicle in Islamabad on Monday.
The incident occurred in front of the Prime Minister’s Secretariat when the foreign diplomat’s vehicle collided with a police officer’s motorcycle.
The injured officer was shifted to the Polyclinic Hospital for medical treatment.
In a post on X, the Islamabad police SP Diplomatic Protection Unit Muhammad Tahir visited Constable Amir Dad, who was injured in a road accident, in the hospital.
He wished him a speedy recovery and wished him the best.
On Sunday, two Saudi Arabia’s diplomats were looted in Islamabad by unidentified men. The case was registered on the complaint of Saudi Attaché Khalid bin Modhi Al Toom. Suspects took away two mobile phones worth Rs300,000 each.
