Heartbroken ex-WWE star reveals events that led to his injury

A former WWE Superstar has come forward with a heartbreaking story about his departure from the company.

Gurvinder Singh Malhotra (Gurv), one half of the tag team known as The Bollywood Boyz, detailed the circumstances surrounding his release from WWE in a recent social media post.

According to Gurv, he finished a match on 205 Live in June 2021 despite having a dislocated right shoulder. He continued to fight through the pain, completing the bout.

Just three weeks later, Gurv was fired by the company while he was still in the midst of his rehabilitation.

“Wow. This was my final match in WWE. I finished this match w/ a dislocated right shoulder.

It came out of socket early in the match & I was fighting my way through the pain.

The old school mentality kicked in ‘fight through’ 3 weeks later I was fired while in rehab,“ Gurv narrated the details in one of his tweets on X.

He felt pride over the work he and his tag team partnered during their time in WWE.
