Lahore police have successfully rescued a man who was kidnapped for ransom within five hours, thwarting the kidnappers’ demands.
The victim, 50-year-old Riaz, a resident of a private housing society near Sagian in the Shahdara area, was abducted by unidentified individuals who demanded a ransom of 10 million rupees.
Shahdara police registered a case and launched an immediate investigation, leading to the rescue of the victim within 5 hours.
The kidnappers, however, managed to escape.

According to police, Riaz was kidnapped this morning for ransom. Police were able to rescue the victim without paying any ransom.
