Indian actress Rashmika Mandanna is all set to share screen space with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in his next movie titled ‘Sikandar’.
It would be her third Hindi movie and first with Salman. She was last seen in Animal alongside Ranbir Kapoor.
The actress took to her social media platform, Instagram, posting a story to share that she would be part of the movie.
“You guys have been asking me for the next update, and here it is. Surprise. I am truly grateful and honored to be part of Sikandar,” she said.
The movie, which is being directed by Ghajini director AR Murugadoss, is all set to be released on Eid next year.
The announcement regarding the actress was also made by the film’s producer, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, on Thursday.
In an Instagram post, the team of Sajid Nadiadwala officially announced Mandanna’s casting in the movie.
“Welcoming the fabulous @iamRashmika to star opposite @BeingSalmanKhan in #Sikandar! Can’t wait for their on-screen magic to unfold on EID 2025,” read the caption of the post.
According to an Indian media outlet, the highly anticipated Murugadoss-directed film was slated to commence its shooting schedule this month.
