“What has happened is very shocking; we don’t know how to deal with it. Hum sab bahut pareshaan hain (We are very disturbed) and are eagerly waiting for some update from the police. Hum uske wapas aane ka intezaar kar rahe hain (We are waiting for him to return),” Hargit told an entertainment portal.

The actor’s disappearance occurred shortly after he celebrated his father’s birthday, which he documented on social media platforms.

“There were no celebrations as such, but we were at home together, and it felt nice. The next day, he was supposed to travel to Mumbai,” he added.

Gurucharan had posted reels from the celebration, expressing his love and admiration for his father.

He failed to arrive at Mumbai Airport on April 22 as scheduled, and subsequent attempts to contact him proved unsuccessful.

His phone has been turned off since then.

Gurucharan Singh gained immense popularity for his portrayal of Roshan Singh Sodhi in the long-running sitcom “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.”
