Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, has asserted that the province is not begging for handouts but demanding its rightful dues. Speaking at an event in Peshawar Press Club, Gandapur emphasized the media’s role as a bridge between the government and the people. He acknowledged the sacrifices made by the province, including those of the armed forces and journalists.
Gandapur announced a grant of 50 million rupees for the Peshawar Press Club and a monthly stipend of 10,000 rupees for the education of 50 journalists’ children. He also stated that practical work on the Media Enclave project would commence next month.
The Chief Minister stressed the importance of securing the province’s rights for its development and vowed to bring the underprivileged population into the mainstream on an equal footing.
