The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has finalized all flight operations and necessary arrangements for the upcoming Hajj operation.
Hajj flights are scheduled to take place from May 9 to June 9.
The operation will be carried out across eight airports nationwide including Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Quetta, Sukkur, Sialkot, and Rahim Yar Khan.
Pilgrims from Peshawar will depart from Islamabad Airport, while those from Faisalabad will fly from Lahore Airport to reach Saudi Arabia.
The Road-to-Makkah service will be introduced at Karachi and Islamabad airports, facilitating the migration process of pilgrims within Pakistan.
Chartered airlines will play a significant role in this year’s Hajj flight operation, ensuring the smooth transportation of pilgrims.
The vaccination procedure for Hajj pilgrims will commence on April 30.
It will be carried out in 10 Hajj camps.
Under the government Hajj scheme, a total of 69,500 pilgrims will have the opportunity to embark on this sacred journey to the holy land of Hajj.
Last year, the Hajj flights in Pakistan started on May 9 and continued till June 9.
