The Balochistan government would bear the educational expenses of child influencer Abubakar, better known by his social media name Baba Che, Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti said on Tuesday.
“The talent of Balochistan was no less than any other province,” he said during a meeting with the child influencer in Quetta. “The government while praising the talented artist will help them move forward and provide opportunities.”
The internet sensation’s YouTube page shows he has more than one million subscribers on YouTube and his last video on the platform received more than 250,000 views.
His popularity further increased among viewers after one of his videos where he expressed his concerns over not being invited for ARY News Ramazan transmission. Abubaar had mentioned host Waseem Badami in his video as the show welcomed a group of child influencers from different parts of Pakistan.
Bugti added that it would be the government’s responsibility to help him achieve his goals.
CM Bugti gave him Rs100,000 Eidi and announced that the government would bear his educational expenses till his graduation.
A video on his Facebook shows he also met Pakistan’s youngest member of the National Assembly Jamal Raisani who made a phone call to Badami in front of him.
“We will invite you in front of the whole of Pakistan and will invite you on sehri and iftaar,” Badami said.
