Internet services went down in several parts of Pakistan on Tuesday, according to the reports from Down Detector.
The country suffered disruption in telecommunication and internet services for a brief period of time.
The services were restored shortly afterward.
The disruption was mainly reported from Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi and Peshawar.
Down Detector is known for tracking countrywide outages by receiving updates from its three main resources of Internet service providers, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd (PTCL), Transworld Home, and Nayatel.
In an email Transworld Home apologetically addressed to its customers “unexpected nationwide outage affecting internet services in Pakistan”.
“Our team is currently investigating the issue and we will resume services completely once the outage has been resolved”. The team further emphasized.
