The remarks came in a meeting under Maryam which approved the province’s new budget on Tuesday.
The chief minister also elaborated the scheme to provide electric bikes in the upcoming budget.
The down payments on both bikes will be reduced to 25,000 and the monthly installment will be less than 5,000 which will start from May this year.
This issuance of bikes will come under a separate scheme for students who have achieved academic success in their exams. A total of 20,000 bikes will be provided.
The meeting proposed the Punjab Air Ambulance Project to be initiated on a trial basis with providing health facilities for elderly and poor people. Rescue 1122 has received more than 1100 calls for air ambulances from people in distress, she said..
It was also decided to raise number of law officers in Punjab to 66.
