Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan on Wednesday backed the Corps Commanders’ stance of bringing to justice the perpetrators of the May 9 riots.
In a formal talk with the reporter at the Adiala jail in Rawalpindi, the former prime minister once against called for the formation of a judicial commission to investigate the May 9 riots.
“I endorse the declaration of the CCC. Suspects involved in May 9 incidents should be punished severely,” he said.
Khan said that the perpetrators of the May 9 riots should be identified using CCTV footage similar to the United States Capitol Hill attack.
