Strong gusts of dusty winds blew across Karachi under the ongoing westerly wave that prevailed in different parts of Sindh on Tuesday, according to the Met Office.
The winds were blowing at a speed of 35km/hr which triggered the temperature to fall in the city. The minimum temperature recorded in the city was 16 degrees Celsius.
“Partly cloudy weather is expected in most districts of the province,” the Pakistan Meteorological Department said in its forecast for the day.
Strong winds in Karachi started on Monday, as predicted by the PMD, but the city did not receive light rain.
The weather pattern is expected to continue till Wednesday (tomorrow) night as the westerly waves would get weak by tomorrow night.
Karachi’s temperature is expected to further fall in the next two days.
