The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has summoned caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar on February 19 in the case of the missing Baloch students case.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani conducted the hearing on the case where the assistant attorney general pleaded to defer the hearing due to the unavailability of the attorney general of Pakistan. However, the court turned down the request.
During the hearing, Justice Kayani remarked that those involved in enforced disappearances should get capital punishment.
AAG Usman Ghumman told the court that a student has been recovered out of the 12 missing students.
Justice Kayani directed PM Kakar to appear before the court on Feb 19 10:00am as he lamented the lack of progress on the matter.
