Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has called on the party’s supporters and ticket holders to organise public gatherings in each constituency to kick-off their electoral campaign.
In a message posted to X past midnight on Sunday, Barrister Gohar said that the instructions to organise power shows across the country had came from founding Chairman Imran Khan.
Gohar also said that the Election Commission of Pakistan was bound to give equal opportunity to the PTI to mobilise public support and take its message to the masses.
Gohar also stressed that the candidates in each constituency should publicise the election symbol they have been allotted so people know who to vote for.
He added that peaceful campaign for elections was the legal and constitutional right of every citizen.
This will be the first time the party will organise a power show since the May 9 protests which turned violent in many places.
