Umpires brought back Nawaz each time he was ousted: Maryam

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leader Maryam Nawaz said on Monday that Nawaz had been ousted from power but had been brought back by umpires each time.

Addressing a public rally in Okara on Monday, Maryam referred to the public as umpires and said they would bring back Nawaz a fourth time.

She added that nature had taken a ‘suo motu’ notice and everyone who supported Imran Khan was falling away one by one.

Commenting on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf being denied the bat symbol, Maryam said that ‘terrorist’ parties cannot be granted an electoral symbol.

Maryam went on to say that Imran Khan ruled with a baton in his hand but it had been taken away after he used it to attack state installations.

Without mentinoing names, Maryam said that those who had done injustices were ‘leaving their shoes behind’ as they try to run away.

She added that electricity had been cheaper when Nawaz Sharif was in power and would be once again when PMLN would win the polls.
