The interim government of Punjab has launched a mobile application for the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE), Lahore, aiming to avoid the prolonged process of receiving educational documents.
Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has inaugurated the handy mobile application on Monday and submitted a testing application for checking the functions installed in the app.
Naqvi ordered the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) to make all boards’ applications functional within a week.
He said that the mobile application aims to address issues of students including the provision of degrees, admission cards and other documents. The app will start facilitating intermediate students from all boards immediately after it goes online.
Naqvi reviewed all functions of the app including e-payment, online verification of results, issuance of degree, duplicate, NOC and migration certificate.

The application will also assist the governmental institution in the verification of degrees.
Provincial Education Minister Mansoor Qadir, secretaries of Higher Education Commission and Information, chairman PITB, commissioner Lahore, chairman BISE and other officials attended the launching ceremony.
