Light rain and snowfall covered most of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s hilly areas have turned the weather chilly in the region.
Following light rain, the snowfall has covered areas of Lake Saif-ul-Malook, Naran, and Batta Kundi.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted more rain in the upper areas of the province.
As per the forecast, the weather will remain partly cloudy in most of the upper regions of the country.
However, there is a possibility of rain with thundershowers and snow in the mountains over the Potohar region, Northeast Punjab, Upper KP, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.
On the other hand, Sindh and Punjab will experience dry and cold weather, while the mercury is likely to go down from 16 to 12 degrees Celsius.
Smog/fog is likely in central/southern parts of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning hours.
