He argued with the police and said, “I am a 21st-grade law officer; why should I wear a helmet?”The incident has seriously raised questions regarding the compliance of public servants with laws and regulations.

The government’s inability to adequately enforce helmet usage has led to an increase in the number of registered challans in a country where accidents are rampant.
