At least four terrorists were killed in an intelligence based operation conducted by the security forces in the general area of Khaisoor in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan district on Saturday, the Inter-Services Public Relations said.
In a statement, the military’s media wing said that the killed militants included a “high-value target, terrorist ring leader Ibrahim, aka Musa, who was highly wanted by the law enforcement agencies.”
Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from the site, it stated and claimed that the terrorists remained “actively involved” in numerous terrorist activities.
“Sanitisation of the surrounding areas is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area, as the security forces in Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.”
Earlier this week, four terrorists were killed in an operation by security forces in Badh Bir area of Peshawar. According to the ISPR, all the terrorists were killed were highly wanted by the security forces.
A soldier of the Pakistan Army was martyred in the exchange of fire in DI Khan.
