The US Ambassador to Pakistan Donald Bloom said on Friday that the United States will keep contributing to the regional development of Pakistan emphasizing job opportunities in South Punjab,
Speaking with the local media in Multan, ambassador Donald Bloom expressed his happiness on his first visit, noting that Multan is a significant cultural hub and that he is pleased to see the city’s cultural growth.
Donald Bloom also inaugurated first Anti-Rape Crisis Cell (ARCC) at Nishtar Hospital and said he is hopeful that the cell will be useful in providing justice to victims of local sexual abuse.
He visited Darbar Shah Shams Tabriz and also educational, medical, and other institutions on Thursday. He examined development projects and spoke with businesspeople about boosting the nation’s economy.
According to the US ambassador, South Punjab is seeing an increase in job opportunities. The United States will keep contributing to the regional development, he said.
