An accountability court in Lahore declared Moonis Elahi a proclaimed offender on Monday in a corruption case.
Judge Naseem Ahmed Virk issued the order on a request by the National Accountability Bureau in a case related to receiving kickbacks in development projects.
NAB had told the court that Moonis had not been arrested or agreed to join an investigation despite repeated calls.
The court also summoned records of Moonis Elahi’s properties and intiated the process to seize them.
Moonis is son of former Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi who is also facing a number of corruption cases.
