Former First Lady Bushra Begum has been summoned by the National Accountability Bureau in £190 million case on Monday and as per media reports her arrest could be on the cards.
Bushra has been summoned at 2 pm in the NAB office in G-6 in Islamabad. Farhat Shahzadi, a former close aide of Bushra, has also been summoned in the same case today.
Some sources have indicated a chance that Bushra could be arrested today.
An accountability court had extended Bushra’s bail till Novomber 15 in the £190 million case and the Toshakhana case on October 31.
During the last hearing in the accountability, Bushra’s lawyer Naeem Haider Panjutha had told the court that bail was being requested in the same case for the third time.
NAB’s investigation officer had told the court that Bushra’s arrest was not required by the Bureau at the time.
