Nasim Shah receives UAE golden visa

Renowned Pakistani pacer Naseem Shah has proudly shared that he has been granted the esteemed golden visa for the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Taking to Instagram, the acclaimed cricketer expressed his deep appreciation to the UAE for bestowing him with the golden visa.

Naseem stated: “Great honour to receive my Golden Visa from a country that I call my second home!”

As per the official website of the UAE government, the golden visa represents a long-term residency permit that offers foreign talents the opportunity to reside, work, or study within the country, all while enjoying exclusive privileges.

The categories eligible for the golden visa encompass investors, entrepreneurs, scientists, exceptional students and graduates, pioneers in humanitarian efforts, and frontline heroes, among others.

The golden visa entails the following benefits:

  • Initial entry into the country for six months with multiple entries, facilitating the process of obtaining the residence permit.
  • The availability of a renewable long-term residence visa, valid for durations of five or ten years.
  • The privilege of not requiring a sponsor for residency.
  • The flexibility to remain outside the UAE for extended periodsbeyond the standard six months, while maintaining the validity of theresidence visa.
  • The capacity to sponsor family members, includingspouses and children regardless of their age.
  • The authorization to sponsor an unlimited number of domestic helpers.
  • Provision for family members to continue residing in the UAE until the expirationof their permits, in the unfortunate event of the golden visaholder’s passing.
