At least two terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with army men during an operation in Balochistan’s Kech district, the Inter-Services Public Relations said on Saturday.
In a statement, the military’s media wing said that a heavy amount of arms and explosive devices were recovered from the site. The operation was conducted on a tip-off.
Last week, at least 10 terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with army men in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Tank district.
The operation was conducted in the Pezu area of Tank after getting information about the terrorists’ presence.
The terrorists were involved in attacks on security forces, murder of civilians, and extortion, according to the ISPR.
The apex committee had said that the anti-terrorist operations would continue in the country.
