Awami National Party leader Arbab Ghulam Muhammad was shot dead by unidentified men in Quetta’s Kuchlak town on Tuesday, the police said.
Kasi was shot at the right side of his temple, they said, adding a bullet shell was also found at the scene. The murder was being further investigated, the police said.
On Monday, a rickshaw driver was shot dead by a passenger in a targeted attack on Quetta’s Alamdar Road.
Police identified the victim as Hussian Hazara, a resident of Marriabad. Media reports quoted him as saying that “the murder appears to be a case of targeted killing”.
They said that a man hired a rickshaw for Alamdar Road area and after reaching the area, he took out a weapon and shot dead the driver.
