Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar ul Haq Kakar set off on a five-day visit to the United States on Sunday.
The PM will attend the 78th session of the United States General Assembly and will also address the delegates.
The theme of this year’s session is “Rebuilding trust and reigniting global solidarity: Accelerating action on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals towards peace, prosperity, progress and the sustainability for all.”
Kakar will also attend a conference on climate change on the sidelines of the general assembly session.
In addition to the UNGA, the caretaker PM will also interact with foreign media and visit American think tanks.
