A father and his son were gunned down by armed men while resisting a robbery in Karachi.
The incident occurred in Korangi Number 2, where two armed dacoits entered a three-story bookshop, with one of them standing guard outside.
The robbers successfully looted the first locker but faced resistance when they attempted to access the second.
They opened fire after the shop’s owners, 70-year-old father, Muhammad Hassan, and his 37-year-old son, Asad, attempted to confront them.
Both of the men were transported to Indus Hospital where they succumbed to their wounds.
Police have initiated the investigation of the incident. According to the police, there were 34 workers employed in the shop.
