PML-N’s Hina Pervaiz claims she was harassed in London

Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Hina Pervaiz has claimed that she was harassed by some people in London. She claims that they were from PTI.

Hina in a social media post X, formerly known as Twitter, described the supporters of PTI as “rude and impolite”. She wondered whether with such acts they were promoting the country’s name or defaming it.

She also shared a video in which she was seen being harassed while walking on a street in London with her son where some people were throwing bottles at them. She identified those as PTI supporters.

Hina said: “Rude and unruly PTI supporters have stooped to the extent of assaulting me in front of my son in London, throwing bottles at me and hurling foul abuse at me.”

She thanked PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif for teaching her patience and civility.

Responding to Hina’s post, Moeed Pirzada expressed amity but also reiterated PDM’s 16 months and mentioned those women are in prison after May 9 mayhem at the time of Independence Day as well.

He said: “We don’t even know the condition of a cancer survivor, former Health Minister & respected Prof of Gynaecology, Dr Yasmin Rashid rotting in jail after 90 days? Being treated like a terrorist by the Pakistani state! I am sure, like all of us, your heart bleeds when you think of Sanam Javaid & her children! Tayyaba Raja, Aliya Hamza! Khadija Shah! Wives of Omar Sarfaraz Cheema & Shaheryar Afridi! And you must have cried as I did publicly when an invalid woman was thrown out of her wheelchair by Punjab Police.”

He closed his reaction with a vow to teach society “Let’s all of us work together towards a better & human Pakistan! A Pakistan that feels for all, and respects all! Not only the generals & their families but civilians too! Amen!”
