A district and sessions judge banned media representatives from entering the courtroom in the Toshakhana case on Tuesday.
Judge Humayun Dilawar oversaw proceedings on Tuesday where lawyers appeared on behalf of the Election Commission of Pakistan as well as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan.
However, things turned sour after some disturbances in the courtroom leading to the judge turning out media representatives from the courtroom.
Police officials on duty also scuffled with media workers and even tried to snatch mobile phones from some of them.
Meanwhile, the judge reserved judgement on the admissibility of Imran Khan’s appeals in the case. The PTI chief did not appear in person in court on Tuesday.
